As we enter the second half of 2021, we should reflect on our journey together, particularly in this second year of the Covid-19 pandemic. On behalf of myself and the entire Thriving Dirang team, we would like to thank you for your continued support and trust in our service and our expertise.

This past week saw the unprecedented and shocking rise in looting and destruction in various parts of our country, spreading anarchy and mayhem in their wake.

As devastating as these incidents have been, it is worth noting that they also brought about a spirit of unity and cooperation founded in our deep belief in Ubuntu and our unique understanding that we are all connected and part of the South African family.

Communities rallied against criminality, despite personal injuries, anger, and frustration, people offered their support and care to strangers, transcending race, gender, and social status. It is this principle of camaraderie that should be our takeaway as the dust settles and we face the enormous task of once again rebuilding our businesses and homes.  

As we design and implement our compliance and business strategies, we must interrogate whether our efforts make a real difference. Together we can overcome anything.
